When we embrace our shadow we become whole,
the imperfect becomes the perfect.
Our self emerges with our soul.

About the Book
Luke and Elizabeth were living the dream and Christmas was just twelve days away. Luke’s day started out so well, everyone was in the Christmas spirit, important decisions had been made and this Christmas was going to be special. That same day Luke loses his job and before they can talk she receives a call and rushes to be with her dying mother. Left alone, feeling deserted, Luke faces thoughts of murder, suicide and fears he is responsible for the hit and run death of a neighbor. Drunk and drugged, he staggers to a near-death fall and when he awakens the next morning he sees his shadow and through their conversations, the why’s and how’s of his life are revealed.
According to Depak Chopra M.D., author of The Shadow Effect, “Everyone has a Shadow. Once people hear about the shadow, the dark side of human nature, almost no one denies it exists. Every life has been touched by anger and fear. When we embrace our shadow we become whole, the imperfect becomes the perfect. Our self emerges with our soul.”
