The best part of being an author! I received the following note from a ninety-plus-year-old woman about my book Aaron’s War:
“What a pleasant surprise when my daughter gave me your autographed book, Aaron’s War. I started to read it on Christmas Eve and it held me spellbound. Since my daughter’s dad was head navigator on a lead bomber over Germany and her stepdad was in the infantry–Battle of the Bulge –it became very real to me. Also, I am a minister’s daughter, and I understood the prejudices. The characters were so real, and I was glad for the happy ending.”
