I don’t know exactly why I choose to communicate my experiences, observations and feelings by writing. For sure, I keep writing because the feedback I have received has touched me. Probably the best compliment I received was that “every one of your sentences is there for a reason.” Professor Landon Brooks, professor of English, addressing the World-famous Iowa Writers Workshop was quoted:
“The basic unit of writing sentences is the proposition, not the word or even a sequence of words.”
